Converting back

Uppercase can’t be undone automatically because the original capitalization is lost. Use Sentence case or Title Case to make it readable again, and check names and acronyms by hand.

Convert every letter to capitals.

Frequently asked questions

Does uppercase work with other languages?

Yes. Conversion follows Unicode rules, so letters with accents and letters from other alphabets are capitalized correctly.

What’s the difference between UPPERCASE and Title Case?

UPPERCASE capitalizes every letter. Title Case capitalizes the first letter of important words, as in headlines.
