Who runs TextVix

TextVix (textvix.in) is built and operated by OrevX Labs. For anything about this policy or your information, email hello@textvix.in.

Not published yet: a registered business name, postal address and the governing jurisdiction for OrevX Labs. Until they are added here, email is the way to reach us about privacy.

Your text and files

Every TextVix tool runs in your web browser. When you type or paste text, or choose a file, it is processed on your device. It is not sent to TextVix or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Text and files are kept in the page’s memory only, and are gone when you close or reload the tab. They are not saved to your browser’s storage.

Some tools download extra code the first time you use them — for example the PDF reader (PDF.js) or the PDF writer (pdf-lib) — from TextVix’s own website. Your files are not part of those requests.

What is stored on your device

To remember your preferences, TextVix stores a few values in your browser’s local storage:

• your theme (light, dark or system) and whether the pointer effect is on;
• the IDs of tools you marked as favourites and tools you used recently (for example “remove-duplicate-lines”);
• if a consent prompt is ever shown, the choice you made in it.

These never include your text or files. You can clear recent tools from the Tools page, and remove everything by clearing this site’s data in your browser’s settings. TextVix also caches its own pages and code in your browser so it loads faster and partly works offline; that cache contains only the website’s files.

Cookies

TextVix itself does not set cookies.

Requests to our hosting provider

Like any website, TextVix is served by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the provider receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the address requested, and may keep logs for security and reliability under its own policies. These requests never contain the text or files you process. TextVix does not run its own analytics on these logs.

Analytics

TextVix does not currently use analytics. The code can report only general events — such as “a tool was used”, the tool’s name, a file extension, or a rough size range — and is built so it cannot send your text, file names, file contents or search terms. If analytics are added, this policy will be updated first and we will ask for consent where the law requires it.

Advertising

TextVix does not currently show ads, and no advertising scripts are loaded. If ads are introduced, this policy will name the provider and the cookies it uses, and ads will only load after you consent where that is required. Please note one technical limit honestly: a third-party script running on a page can, in principle, read what is on that page. TextVix never sends your text or files to an ad provider, which is one reason ads are switched off by default and kept away from the tools.

Contacting us

The contact links open your email app, Instagram or WhatsApp. Messages you send are handled by those services under their own privacy policies, and are received by OrevX Labs. We use them only to reply to you.

Data retention

We don’t receive your text or files, so we don’t keep them. Preferences stay in your browser until you clear them. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its use. Because TextVix doesn’t collect your content or create accounts, we usually hold no personal data about you beyond messages you send us. To make a request, email hello@textvix.in.

Children

TextVix is a general-audience website and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes — for example when a feature starts processing files on a server, or analytics or ads are added — the new version will be posted here with a new date.
