Does it remove emoji and symbols like $ or ©?
Only if you turn on “Also remove symbols”. By default it removes punctuation only.
Is “don’t” turned into “dont”?
Not by default — apostrophes inside words are kept. Turn off “Keep apostrophes in words” to remove them too.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your text and files are never sent to a server or stored.
