Questions about JPG to WebP

More answers in the TextVix FAQ.

Will every browser show WebP?

All current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari show WebP. Some older apps and upload forms still don’t accept it.

Why can’t my browser create WebP?

Creating WebP depends on the browser: Chrome, Edge and Firefox can; Safari can open WebP but not save it. TextVix checks first and tells you, rather than saving a mislabelled file.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Images are decoded and converted by your browser, on your device. TextVix never receives them.
