How to use Find Differences

  1. Paste your first list into List A and your second list into List B — one item per line. You can also upload a file for each.
  2. Adjust the matching options if you need to.
  3. Press Find differences.
  4. Copy the result or download it as TXT, CSV or JSON.

Example

Items only in List A come first, then items only in List B.

Good for

How can I tell which list an item came from?

Items only in List A are listed first, followed by items only in List B. To see them separately, use Compare Two Lists.

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your text and files are never sent to a server or stored.
